Description
Maria is a Senior Biochemical Engineer at Cargill. She did her BS in chemical engineering at Virginia Commonwealth Engineering. After her BS, she went on a Fulbright Fellowship to Thessaloniki Greece. While in Greece she started an engineering educational program focused on Synthetic Biology. Maria continued her studies at the University of Minnesota where she earned a PhD in chemical engineering with a minor in public affairs. Upon completion of the PhD Maria joined Cargill‘a Core Research and development Team where her primary role focuses on automation and process development.
