Description

Lesley Simanton-Coogan is the Planetarium Director and a Lecturer at the University of North Georgia in the Department of Physics and Astronomy. She received her B.A. degree in physics at Albion College (Albion, MI) and her Ph.D. in physics at the University of Toledo (Toledo, OH). She has researched populations of star clusters and galaxy evolution. Currently, she works on science outreach through the planetarium and designs and teaches astronomy labs.
