Veterinarians Dr. Heather Williams and Dr. Sarah Hantz were the speakers for the Healthcare presentations for the 2024 Arkansas Women in STEM conference.
Biography
Dr. Heather Williams and Dr. Sarah Hantz are veterinarians at their co-owned clinic “Mount Comfort Veterinary Care” in Northwest, Arkansas. Dr. Sarah Hantz graduated from University of California Davis Veterinary School and went on to do a rotating internship at The Animal Medical Center of New York City, a level 1 trauma center with over 20 specialties and 130+ veterinarians. Since that time, she has worked in emergency and general practice. Dr. Heather Williams graduated from Louisiana State University Veterinary School and went on to do a rotating internship at Veterinary Referral Associates of Maryland. She continued to work in referral and emergency medicine before moving back to Arkansas. With a combined 28 years of experience practicing veterinary medicine, Drs. Sarah Hantz and Heather Williams have both practiced in a myriad of environments, from large multi-specialty referral hospitals to emergency and general practice.
