Ouachita Chemistry
The Ouachita Baptist University (OBU) Department of Chemistry is housed within the J.D. Patterson School of Natural Sciences. OBU Chemistry has four degree offerings and our graduates have gone on to succeed in both professional and graduate school! We have a great student-to-faculty ratio in all of our classes and have a very active American Chemical Society student chapter and Gamma Sigma Epsilon honor society chapter that share the joy of chemistry with the Ouachita and Arkadelphia communities through demonstrations, school visits, webinars, and activities like the Women in STEM conference.
