Call for Presentations
Our conference will host an afternoon mini oral presentation session featuring female undergraduate research from across the state as well as historically significant women in STEM.
You should submit your presentation. You will be asked to make a Scholarly Commons account - you can do this with any email address.
All presentations should be submitted by March 7th.
Your mini research oral presentation should consist of six slides.
We suggest the following format for a research presentation :
Slide 1: Title/Presenter slide (you can also include acknowledgements here)
Slide 2: Introduction slide
Slide 3-5: Results/Discussion/Methods slides
Slide 6: Conclusions/Future directions slides (can include acknowledgements here)
We suggest the following format for a historical woman in STEM presentation :
Slide 1: Title/Presenter slide
Slide 2: Background on your historical woman slide
Slide 3-5: Accomplishments/Fun Facts about your historical woman slides
Slide 6: References slides
