Biography
Dr. Dagmara Motriuk-Smith, Ph.D., is a broadly trained biologist specializing in molecular biology. She has been working with undergraduate students for the last two decades, introducing them to biomedical science laboratory-based research. She also teaches Cell Biology, Scientific Communication, and Independent study courses in person or hyflex. Her research interests include molecular evolution, taxonomy, gene structure, protein folding. She co-authored 13 scientific publications. During the last 6 years she has been involved in administration of a Wyoming Research Network grant funded by NIH IDeA and providing funds to support undergraduate research and education. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, kayaking, and playing tennis. She is happily married and a mother of two boys.
