Clinical Pharmacist Dr. Taylor James was the speaker for the Healthcare presentations of the 2024 Arkansas Women in STEM conference.

Biography

Dr. Taylor James was born and raised in White Hall, Arkansas, and graduated from White Hall High School in 2009. She went to OBU and graduated with a Chemistry degree in 2013, then graduated from the UAMS College of Pharmacy in 2017. She completed a PGY1 Pharmacy Residency in 2017-2018 at UAMS Medical Center and then worked at Jefferson Regional Medical Center from 2018-2021 as the Clinical Pharmacy Manager. Since 2021, she has been a Clinical Pharmacy Specialist in Internal Medicine at UAMS. She is married to Dr. Ryan James (also an OBU graduate) for almost 9 years and has one daughter named Lily who is 1.5 years old. Ryan is finishing his physician fellowship training in Pulmonology/Critical Care. They currently live in Little Rock, AR.
