Description
Glennis Rayermann earned her Ph.D. and M.S. in physical/materials chemistry at the University of Washington in Seattle and her B.S. in chemistry at Harvey Mudd College. Both the National Science Foundation and the Department of Defense awarded her graduate research fellowships. Her research is multidisciplinary, including materials degradation, development and patent of a novel instrumental technique, biophysical chemistry, and cultural heritage conservation science. Currently, she is a researcher in the Patricia H. and Richard E. Garman Art Conservation Department at SUNY Buffalo State. She presented in the morning chemistry panel and afternoon alternative career panel sessions of OBU's Women in STEM conference held on March 20, 2021.
