Description

Dr. Sharon K. Hamilton earned a B.S. in Chemistry from Auburn University in 2004 and a Ph.D. in Chemistry from Vanderbilt University in 2009. She completed her Post-doctoral fellowship at the Georgia Institute of Technology in Biomedical Engineering and Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering. She started her academic career at her alma mater and was an Instructor and Researcher at Auburn University before joining the Department of Chemistry and Physics at Delta State University in Mississippi. She joined the faculty at Ouachita Baptist University in 2018 and received funding for her research from the Arkansas INBRE in 2019.
