Dennis Holt was a director and playwright. Holt came to Ouachita Baptist College in 1955 as chairman of the drama department.

Etta Grey Cargile Gray Wedding Gown

The gown and shoes Cargile wore at her wedding were used in a display in Cone Bottoms Hall on the campus of Ouachita Baptist University about 1955. When the display was dismantled, Mrs. Gray donated the items to the Library.

Thelma Trout Collection of Vacation Bible School Materials

Thelma and her husband served as home missionaries for the Southern Baptist Convention, and Thelma wrote curriculum for children's programs.

Kewpie Klub

Dorothy Dean Campbell was a freshman student at Ouachita Baptist College in 1945. She became involved with campus activities by joining the Kewpie Klub and the Math Honor Society.

Hundreds of manuscript collections are housed within the library’s Archives and Special Collections. The collections consist of private and business papers of individuals; records of religious, educational, business, patriotic, social, and civic organizations; county government records; and political papers. These finding aids provide quick and easy access to detailed descriptions of primary source materials maintained by Ouachita Baptist University.
