Abstract
Julia Houston of Pine Bluff attended Elizabeth College in Charlotte, North Carolina, in the early 1900s. She married Hilton Railey (1895-1975), a journalist. Railey served in World War I (WWI) and later worked at the New York Times.
This collections was salvaged from an abandoned home in Pine Bluff by an OBU history student in the late 1970s-early 1980s, and given to OBU history professor Dr. Ray Granade for preservation.
This collection includes correspondence, financial papers, a manuscript, and other items.
