Abstract

During the 1880s, J.W. He spent only a few years at the first two schools but served as president of Ouachita for twenty-one years.

This collection includes biographical documents, speeches, a commencement program, newspaper articles, and photographs documenting J.W. Conger's service as the first president of Ouachita Baptist University.
