Abstract
This is the program for the tenth anniversary of the Mary Shambarger Competition for Singers. The following artists performed (in order of appearance): tenor Kirt Thomas, accompanied by pianist Mary Worthen; tenor Christopher B. Straw, accompanied by pianist Mary Worthen; soprano Jenna Williams Tucker, accompanied by pianist Cindy Fuller; baritone Christopher Riddle, accompanied by pianist Anne Beloncik; baritone Cliff House, accompanied by Mary Worthen; soprano Jessica Gartman, accompanied by Anne Beloncik; baritone Joshua Payne, accompanied by pianist Cindy Fuller; soprano Heather Baker Napier, accompanied by pianist Mary Worthen; soprano Heather Baker Napier and baritone Stephen Anthony Ray, accompanied by pianist Mary Worthen; baritone Stephen Anthony Ray, accompanied by pianist Cindy Fuller. The competition took place on February 26, 2008, in the McBeth Recital Hall.
