Abstract

Mount Bethel Baptist Church, organized in 1836, is located six miles west of Arkadelphia, Clark County, Arkansas. The church is a member of the Red River Baptist Association, Arkansas Baptist State Convention, and the Southern Baptist Convention. When the Mount Bethel Church building burned in the 1930s after the town of Graysonia was abandoned, the Graysonia church was moved to serve in its place, and is still in use today at 199 Deceiper Hill Road, Arkadelphia, Arkansas.

The Mount Bethel Baptist Church records include eleven volumes of minutes, membership lists, and treasurers' records.
