Abstract
Elk Horn Bank and Trust Company of Arkadelphia, Arkansas, was founded by S. R. McNutt and John N. Stuart in 1884. It served the Clark County area under that name until 2008. These Elk Horn Bank statements from 1921 were found in an old file cabinet that was given to Johnny McAnally many years ago. He retired from Elk Horn Bank (now Southern Bancorp) in 1993, after thirty-seven years of service as Loan Officer, Branch Manager, and Vice-President. The papers were not discovered in the back of the cabinet until early in 2014.
This collection includes fourteen bank statements and three loose checks which were returned to Elk Horn Bank in Arkadelphia, Arkansas.
