Flippen Hall, girls' dormitory, was completed in 1961. The building houses seventy-six students, is completely air-conditioned, and was erected at a cost of $280,000. Just north of this building is another of similar type. The two are referred to as Flippen-Perrin Hall, named for the late Mrs. Jane Flippen Perrin, niece of the first president of the College, Dr. J. W. Conger.
