Ouachita Baptist University's Division of Music presented "Billy Blythe," a modern folk opera featuring music written by Bonnie Montgomery and libretto by Britt Barber, both Ouachita alumni. The opera was performed November 17-19, 2016.
The following are the cast and crew: Will Stotts as Bill "Billy" Clinton; Esther Atkinson as Virginia; Scotty Scott as Roger; Micah Brooks as Grandpa; Jacob Hemsath as Ed; Zachary Myers as James; Jeffery "JD" Sanders as Ray; Tanner Fritsche as Early; Jessica Brunson as Marge; Elizabeth Shelby as Dixie; Elizabeth Crisler as Police Officer; Carter Hall as Gabe and a member of the ensemble.
The production's ensemble includes: Joy Biebighauser, Dean Carmona, Bonnie Gentry, Elizabeth riffin, Amy Lytle, Talyor McKinney, Alexis Morgan, Elizabeth Schutter, and Felicia Valdez.
