    Stevens Creek Baptist Association was established in 1891 at Providence Church in White County, replacing Central and Velvet Ridge associations. W.M. Owen served as moderator, with J.W. Pollard, clerk. Member churches as of 1891 included Salem, Providence, Shady Grove, Holly Springs, Harvey’s Chapel, Union Hill, Independence, and Bethel.

    The Stone County Baptist Association was organized in 1918 at the Corinth Church at Mountain View (Stone County) by the following churches: Bethany, Pleasant Valley, Corinth, Blue Mountain, Shady Grove, Timbo, Big Spring, and Pine Chapel.

    Trace Ridge Baptist Association was organized in 1889 by churches “in the vicinity of Trace Ridge”: Trace Ridge, Zion, Burr Oak, Mount Hope, Hartsuggs, Liberty, Hopewell, and Pleasant Exchange. T.W. McInturff served as moderator; John Kimbell, clerk; and W.L. Goodhugh, treasurer.
