Ouachita Baptist University’s Department of Theatre Arts presented the play A Doll’s House from Nov. 7 through Nov. 10. The three-act play by Henrik Ibsen and adapted by Nicholas Rudall is a mind-stimulating drama that questions the traditional roles of women and explores the ways in which society perceives them, especially in marriage and motherhood. It also analyzes the emergence of modernism in the 19th century and portrays an unlikely hero for the era: a housewife.
