Description

The 1944 Ouachita Baptist University yearbook, The Ouachitonian, records the events of this college year. Its goal is to remind readers of pleasant memories and enduring friendships formed at OBU, as well as of the students, faculty, staff, organizations, and events that shaped OBU in 1944. Dedicated to RICHARD CAMPBELL PETTIGREW, Ph.D., Professor of Humanities; because we have found in him a sincere and capable leader; because of his cordial interest in the development of his pupils, his hospitable personality which has sent many students rejoicingly toward the future, his patience which never tires, his ability to make all subjects amusing and useful, his striking sense of humor, his unlimited cleverness, and his giving his life to those unworthy of such love, we respectfully and admiringly dedicate this-the 1944 Ouachitonian.
