Abstract

An examination of the operational decisions made by law enforcement and the prosecution during the West Memphis Three murder investigation and subsequent trials. This thesis reviews the chief mistakes that were made by both aforementioned parties in this case and what effect they had on the defendants as well as the overall outcome.
