Abstract

The McWha family lived in and around Pike County, Arkansas, in the late 1800s. William McWha received a land patent in 1881 for an area near Kirby, totaling 120 acres. The collection includes letters from Edgar McWha, William's son, who died while serving at Camp Pike in Little Rock, Arkansas, during World War I (WWI).

The collection contains legal, financial, and family documents from the McWha family of Pike County, Arkansas, including a land patent and World War I letters.
