Abstract

Thomas Lonergan and his wife were students at Ouachita Baptist College in Arkadelphia, Arkansas, from 1945 to 1947. Lonergan was from Little Rock, Arkansas, and majored in speech and Bible. He was a member of the Ministerial Association, which was one of the oldest organizations of OBC at that time. Members were required to be either ordained or licensed ministers. Mrs. Lonergan was a member of the Ministerial Auxiliary and served as president in 1946. Lonergan was also a member of Ouachita Players, Alpha Psi Omega, and Life Service Band. He was the photography editor for the Ouachitonian and stage manager for the Little Theater.
