Description

Stevens Creek Baptist Association was established in 1891 at Providence Church in White County, replacing Central and Velvet Ridge associations. W.M. Owen served as moderator, with J.W. Pollard, clerk. Member churches as of 1891 included Salem, Providence, Shady Grove, Holly Springs, Harvey’s Chapel, Union Hill, Independence, and Bethel.
